Reverend Wayne M. Davis is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Christ Church; a thriving evangelical, multi-racial, cross-cultural, non-denominational church currently located in North Plainfield, New Jersey.

As a motivational speaker and anointed teacher, Pastor Wayne is known to impart great faith by the Word of God, causing his listeners to move toward their purpose and fulfill the Will of God for their lives.  Many have been motivated to start businesses upon hearing his inspirational sermons.

With a strong background in evangelism and outreach, Pastor Wayne is no stranger to taking the Gospel to the lost; no matter where they may be found.  That passion to see the lost, be found has opened many effectual doors for ministry at numerous correctional facilities and churches in the tri-state area.  While training future leaders to serve God and man, Wayne works diligently to fulfill God’s mission for the ministry, which is simply stated as: “We Exist to Serve”.  He is a constant example of what it means to be a true servant in the Body of Christ.

He is the founder of Success Ministries International and has thus far authored four books entitled: “Why Am I Here?”, “The Most Important Thing in Life”, “We Need To Pray”, and “Know, Go, and Show (Lessons from Ezra the Priest).”

Rev. Wayne M. Davis, is known for her ability to cultivate a dynamic atmosphere and lead worshippers into the tangible presence of God.

Embracing the “Call” to worship, and since 1986 when her pursuit of God through worship began, she recognized that an understanding of Old and New Testament worship was a very necessary component to achieving that end.  After years of being trained and having personally encountered God’s presence, she now teaches and trains other worship leaders how they’re to function within the local church.

Her understanding and “for real” delivery of God’s Word is humorous going in, yet “quick, powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword” (Heb. 4:12a), bringing healing to the hearer.  Her prophetic gift enables her to discern the hearts of men and speak a word of deliverance that sets captives free from the yoke of bondage. 

Be it giving spiritual advice to a married couple in crisis, the unmarried, the college student, or the confused teenager, she unfailingly proclaims victory in Jesus Christ.  With a burden for hurting women and a love for local church government and order, those who have an ear to hear what the Spirit has to say to the Church are renewed with a deeper commitment to serve.

Pastor Lorraine Crawford has been a member of the Christ Church family for 17 years: 8 with senior pastor Dr. David Ireland, and 9 with the North Plainfield church. 

She’s a Resource Teacher Coordinator for Newark Public Schools, where she trains teachers in literacy best practices and holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology & Early Childhood Education from Rutgers University and a Masters of Arts degree (M.A.) in Urban Education with Certification in Special Education from New Jersey City University.

For the past 5 years she has successfully lead the Sure Foundation Ministry, and has just launched the Summer Institute, which will emphasize “family life”.    As an associate pastor on our governing team, Lorraine will teach, counsel and oversee our volunteer departmental staff.

Though recently widowed, she remains the proud mother of two young adults, Jeran and Danielle
